This is the specimen
that has been the subject of considerable controversy in the
talk.origins and other news groups.
Andrew MacRae, then of the University of Calgary, had a thin section
prepared from it and microscopic photos he posted on his web page
revealed no presence of circles, or Haversian canals.
Ed Conrad has accused MacRae of having substitued a thin section that
had been prepared from a siderite nodule or some other type rock or
concretion, therefore there would be no sign of Haversian canals
because the photos were not of the cell structure of the tibia.
Ed has promised to produce a microscopic photo of a thin section that
was prepared from this specimen and insists it will reveal the presence
of circles -- Haversian canals. He emphasizes it will prove EC96-001 is
indeed bone, backing up his accusations that MacRae's testing was
fraudulent.

Ed Conrad, who is
shown here holding a portion of a petrified hominid mandible, has been
fighting established science since June 1981 when he began finding
petrified bones, petrified teeth and petrified soft organs -- of both
large land animals and man -- in coal-bearing strata.
He
has pulled no punches in accusing the scientific establishment of
deceit, dishonesty, collusion, corruption and conspiracy in denying the
facts and evidence.
Ed insists its deplorable, disgusting non-scientific behavior is the
result of its total awareness that the existence of human remains in
strata 280 million years old means its evolutionary theory of man's
emergence -- from the lowliest primates of 65 million years ago is in
deep, deep trouble,
He has accused it of perpetrating a crime against mankind by glorifying
a rhetorical, nonsensical myth that has no substance in physical
evidence and hard cold facts.
